Halloween hijinx afoot in World of Warcraft

I absolutely love that the people at Blizzard have a good sense of humor. It is what drove me to try the game in the first place. I must admit, I am going to seriously miss the Trick or Treating in the game. Sometimes, sad as it may sound, I would actually play that extra hour just to see what my next "trick" would be. (The tricks were way more fun than the treats!) Here are a few of the screenshots I got with some of the tricks played on me.

Marama was turned into a Ninja:

(Notice the big bucket to the right of her on the left of your screen? Great place to "bob for apples" as food. They thought of everything!)

But by far, my favorite is what they did to my hunter in Burning Crusade. Here she is pictured with her pet and Mini Diablo. I am pretty sure she could scare the pants off you for Halloween if they showed up at your door!

(This screen shot is from the Exodor in Burning Crusade. Isn't it gorgeous? Of course, it is one huge frickin' maze in there, so I get lost every time I go in there, but I am figuring it out. Slowly. Very slowly!)

And finally, here is my female hunter turned undead, doing the dance of the undead in the Inn in the Exodor.

See? This is fun! I am totally going to miss this fun side part of the game.

I wonder if they will turn people into turkeys for US's Thanksgiving? Now that would be funny to see a bunch of turkeys in battle!

I will post more as I play throughout the day and get things slapped on me. It has been fun. I think it should be something they keep. A little random thing you can get to keep things...uhhh...interesting when not taking it TOO seriously.

A is for Alpha. B is for Beta. BC is for Burning Crusade alpha and beta tester!

For those of you who read my other blog, Mommy Needs Coffee, you may be aware that I have had some medical issues I have been dealing with. So, you may be assuming that is why I have not blogged about World of Warcraft or Marama, my beloved Night Elf. You may reason that I have not been playing WoW and therefore couldn't blog about it.

Well, actually, you would be wrong. Well, partially wrong. I haven't actually been playing my character Marama in World of Warcraft as much as I was. Did I quit? Nope. Did I decide I couldn't be a gamer? Not at all.

So what have I been doing?

Playing the Friends and Family Alpha edition of The Burning Crusade, baby.

You read that right. Me--the "latest neo-gamer" I believe I was called by some silly website. I have been having the time of my life playing WoW- The Burning Crusade.

I have been playing the so called secret "friends and family alpha test" for relatives and associates of Blizzard's employees for quite a while now. It was very hard to not talk about playing The Burning Crusade, but there was an agreement that contains a clause strictly forbidding participants to even acknowledge the program's existence. But let me tell you something. It existed.

Now I am playing the Burning Crusade closed beta edition. How do I let you know how much fun this is? How about...it totally kicks ass! I have created character after character to just see what new spells and talents they have. I will continue to blog about both the WoW experience and Burning Crusade experience--now that I can acknowledge that it exists.

I can admit to playing the game and can tell you with no fear of you ever coming back to me doubting my word, you will really enjoy WoW-BC. I wouldn't lie to you.
