YES! I am updating!
Guess who is playing again! Did you guess me? You are right! I have a character on Zul'jin. My character name is (Before I tell you...it was late, I was tired, the dog was bugging me, my feet were cold etc...) Hellnola. I am a Human Warlock. I have done the hunters to death. (Insert crude reference here.) (And again.)
I am having fun. I leveled from 0-8 in a day. And, yes, I fed the kids. Sooooo, if anyone plays and anyone plays on that server...let me know. I want to team up. I am WAY rusty on this and forgot how much fun I have playing.
Oh, yeah....mama is back in the World of Warcraft. Look out. (And feed yourselves!)

Widow's Revenge is in labor!
Oh I really like Colleen's idea of Widow's Revenge. That settles it!
Now, when are we going to meet. Ummm, remember me? NEWBIE to WoW? Guide me, ladies!
Widow's Revenge, Draka Server, Alliance and my hunter is named Mythia.
Now, for the love of all things warcraft, now what?
UPDATE: Oh for the love of all things mind numbing, I just cannot do one more Dranei Hunter. I am still going to be a hunter and name her was changed to Maramala. (Had to keep the Marama aspect somehow.) She is a dwarf hunter. I just CANNOT do one more Dranei Hunter quest under level 20. (Remember I also alpha and beta testing this, so she would be my bagamillionth one to create.)
So here we go...AGAIN! Leave me your toon's name so I can add you as a friend.

WoW Widows- Guild birth
Okay, I received a lot of emails from people who wanted to play and join the guild but didn't want to be PVP or RP, so I went with normal. Right now, I have started a character on Draka. She is a Dranei Hunter named Mythia.
Any objections to Draka or Alliance?
As soon as you can, log in, find me and let's get this guild going.
Did we decide on WoW Widows?
Come on now, let's rock the WoW world while our Significant Others fix our dinner and care for our offspring (if we have them)!

An Open (love) letter to the creators of World of Warcraft
Dear (beloved) Creators of World of Warcraft,
How could you? How could make fall in love with playing WoW and do it in a way in which the timing is such that I didn't realize I was in love until it was too late to order my copy of the Burning Crusade Collector's Edition? I mean, you hooked me up with the CE edition of WoW when I was still such a noob. You even sent me the key to my heart anytime-- t-shirts! And after months of alpha testing and beta testing I discover I won't be able to have a collector's edition of BC. Oh, Blizzard, what have you done to me? Why did you not warn me about the shortage or CE's? Why did you not prepare me and let me know that even though when we found each other I could never understand it, but one day I would want a CE and should pre-order it? Why? Whyyyyyyyyyy?
I weep.
How can I live without my vanity pet? And knowing there is a new one coming? How can I look over at just a regular expansion pack edition without anyone's signature? Was this part of the plan? Are you breaking up with me? Please don't break up with me. Or is this your way of saying you want to see other players? So soon? I mean, I thought we had something special. You know, the whole "we will make you ours" type of relationship we had going? Remember how you said I amuse you? Is the magic gone?
Is the the fact I haven't mooned you yet? I will! I name all of my characters something "moon" related. That's for you, my friends. All for you.
And now, on the eve of the BC release, I weep that I was not indoctrinated into your cult sooner. If I had only known.
If I had only known.
But I still love you. I didn't want to. I tried not to. But we are helpless as to what our heart feels. You had me at "vanity pet."
Begrudgingly yours,
Jenn
ps- When is the next expansion pack coming out? What's next? Can I put my name on the waiting list NOW?! I mean to avoid this heartbreak between us.

You made me love you
I didn't want to do it, I didn't want to do it
You made me love you
and all the time you knew it
I guess you always knew it.
You made me happy sometimes, you made me glad
But there were times, Dear, you made me feel so bad
You made me sigh for, I didn't want to tell you
I didn't want to tell you
I want some love that's true, yes I do, deed I do, you know I do
Give me, give me, give me what I cry for
you know you got the brand of kisses that I'd die for
You know you made me love you

Join the Dark Side....I'll be your dealer
Okay, ladies, I know you are out there because you are emailing me and commenting here. You know you want to try it. Stand up with me and take back the computers! We can totally form a guild of former Gaming Widows and making it the Gaming Widower-Makers.
If you read my "How it all began", you know that I had great loathing for this game and everything associated with it. But, ladies, I have to tell you...shhhhh...it's kind of fun.
And the payback! Oh, honey child, the payback.
Here are some examples:
Male: When is dinner going to be ready?Widower-Maker: Can you NOT see that I am in the middle of a Quest? I should be asking you. When is MY dinner going to be ready?
Or you can do the reverse of what we have said for years:
Male: Honey, are you coming to bed soon?Widower Maker: Be there in a bit. Once I finish this instance...they are usually only a few hours. Just go on without me.
And then the ever popular:
Male: You have totally been neglecting me since you started that game. I miss you. Can't we spend some time together?Widower Maker: I've told you. Just get another computer and start playing again. I promise you'll like it and we will be spending time together that way. Just think, we could loot, and raid and quest together. But, you'll need to figure out what to do with the kids first.
Oh, yes, ladies, the tides are turning. Join me on the dark side. (I will even teach you some of the most creative forms of non-cussing cussing you have ever heard. You'll need it.)

Who has time to game when there are chores to be done?
Last night at 9:00pm, I am getting ready for bed. I was worn out and could feel a cold coming on. Then after emailing a friend back and forth for a while, I became inspired to play World of Warcraft. Inspired. As in, I played and didn't get to bed until 3:00am!
Warcrack, I tell you! So, I have things to do today that must be done. I have errands to run. I have chores to do. In fact, I am pretty sure we are out of most of the four main food groups and I need to go to the store. I know the kids need me to do something for them. I have no idea what, but kids always need you to do something for them. And the hubby? Well, he may feel a bit neglected. (How's if feel to be on the other side and being the gaming widower?)
So, I am going to do what any good mom/wife/writer should do on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
I am going gaming. BRING IT!

Confession time
I have a secret. But you have to promise not to tell my family (The Males) or the guys at Blizzard. (It's not like they read this...yet.) Promise not to tell?
I am really enjoying playing World of Warcrap Warcrack Warcraft.
I spend most of my days writing. Trying to take the thoughts in my jumbled up brain and make them coherent and relatable for other people. I am at my computer most of my days writing. Either blogs, freelancing or working on my never-ending book editing/rewriting. There are nights it feels good to just log in and mindlessly play this game. (Well, I shouldn't say mindlessly because for a non-gamer, this game can be hard!) But I am really enjoying it.
I am ashamed to admit it, but I even whoop and get all psyched up when I level. Yes, I know. Sad. Sad. Sad.
But you promised not to tell. So Shhhhhhhhhhh!
And I made a new shirt for the occasion.

May I introduce you to....
MARAMA

Now, I know you are thinking "Marama? How threatening is that name?" Oh, honey, never underestimate a smartass. There is a definite reason behind it. And it is specifically for my good friends at Blizzard.
Marama:
Gender: Feminine
Usage: Pacific/Polynesian Mythology
Means "moon" in Maori. In Maori and other Polynesian mythology she was the god of the moon and death.
I promised Jason and friends that I would definitely moon then.
Here you go guys. You have officially been mooned. Meet Marama. Goddess of moon. Mwah!
